Automated Guided Vehicle /Unmanned Vehicle (AGV) refers to a
transport vehicle equipped with electromagnetic or optical
automatic guidance devices, capable of driving along a specified
guidance path, with safety protection and various load-carrying
functions, and a truck without a driver in industrial applications,
with a rechargeable battery as its power source. It is generally
possible to control its travel route and behavior through a
computer, or to use an electromagnetic path-following system to set
up its travel route, which is attached to the floor, and unmanned
trucks move and move according to the information brought by the
electromagnetic track.
AGV is characterized by wheeled movement, compared with walking,
crawling or other non-wheeled mobile robots have the advantages of
fast action, high work efficiency, simple structure, strong
controllability and good safety. In contrast to other equipment
commonly used in material handling, the activity area of the AGV
does not require the laying of fixtures such as tracks and support
